Shittu sues Victor Oluwadamilare for defamation, demands N2 Million.
The Minister of Communications, Barrister Adebayo Shittu has been reported on Tuesday to have dragged his immediate past Special Assistant (Media), Mr. Victor Oluwadamilare to court over claims that the Minister owed him close to N14 Million Naira, in spite of living fat as alleged by his former Aide.
Recall that the Minister during his Radio Interview has vowed to slap Mr. Victor Oluwadamilare with contempt notice for levying false allegations against him and casting aspirations on his person which went viral on the Media Channels.
The embattled Ex-Aide accused the Minister in his letter of expending substantial amount of money, far above his legitimate earnings as a Minister in the Buhari Administration, on his gubernatorial ambition in Oyo State, also alleged to have equally sponsored no fewer than 22 members of his family and cronies including under-aged children to the Holy Land in Saudi Arabia and lesser Hajj (Umrah) pilgrimage.
He alleged that Hon. Minister, ever since his inauguration has received over N50 MILLION as salary, travelling expenses on the coffers of the Ministry runs into several millions of naira, and that he has collected estacodes in excess of $800,000, possesses exotic cars, Printing firm among others.
